Sony DSX-S300BT and DSX-S200X iPod Car Stereos

Sony is prepping the new DSX-S300BT and DSX-S200X car stereos for release in September for $280 and $200, respectively. Both models feature Sony’s TuneTray mechanical compartment for connecting an iPod or other USB devices. The front faceplate of each units flip down on command and outputs the TuneTray compartment with its iPod adapter, while an external USB input allows you to connect two USB capable devices simultaneously. The Sony DSX-S300BT and DSX-S200X Head Units also feature a crystal-clear OEL display, built-in Bluetooth technology for hands-free calling and wireless music streaming, as well as Sony’s SensMe technology, which "analyzes a connected music library to create custom playlists and radio channels, and utilizes an Advanced Sound Engine (ASE) to provide an outstanding in car sound environment," according to Sony.

Panasonic introduced its latest LUMIX, the slim DMC-FX75 14.1-megapixel digital camera which features a 24mm ultra-wide-angle F2.2 bright Leica DC Vario-Summicron lens with 5x optical zoom. This compact hybrid model records HD video in the AVCHD Lite format, and it also records in Motion JPEG, as well as WVGA (848x480) and VGA (640x480). And yes, the optical zoom can be used while shooting high definition video. The LUMIX FX75 records high quality audio using Dolby Digital Creator.
LUMIX_FX75 The camera has a 3.0-inch 230,000-dot LCD which allows for full touch-screen operation and touch Auto Focus with a cool AF tracking feature. Browsing photos on the touch screen is also said to be quick and easy. Panasonic's iA (Intelligent Auto) mode on the LUMIX FX75 includes a new Motion Deblur mode, as well as POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), Face Recognition, Face Detection, AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure. All iA modes also work while shooting video.
